While some of these breathtaking islands offer lavish homes with the price tag, others are fair game for lucky buyers to build their own dream homes, according to Realtor.com. 

Some of these properties offer beaches while others offer luxury; all of them offer amazing views. 

#10 Trump Island in Decatur Island, Washington: $5.5million  

#10 Trump Island: This gorgeous island has no connection to President Donald Trump. It is a part of the San Juan Islands  in Decatur Island, Washington, and it’s on the market for $5.5million

According to its listing, the island comes with independent power and water systems and has a two-bedroom home that was built in 2000. The property also features 4,200 feet of saltwater frontage with beaches and a deep-water dock

The cheapest (and still expensive) private island on this list is the Trump Island, which by the way has no connection to President Donald Trump. 

It is a part of the San Juan Islands in Decatur Island, Washington, and has been on and off the market for the last four years. 

The property was offered for $7.75million in December 2016, but the price tag has since been lowered to $5.5million. 

According to its listing, the island comes with independent power and water systems and has a two-bedroom home that was built in 2000. 

The property also features 4,200 feet of saltwater frontage with beaches and a deep-water dock.

#9 Hoopstick Island in Johns Island, South Carolina: $7.7million 

Hoopstick Island in South Carolina is up for grabs. The 156-acre island is about 20 minutes from downtown Charleston and is connected to land by a causeway.

The property is currently being managed by a caretaker who lives in a three-bedroom caretaker’s house on the island.

This 26-acre Pumpkin Key island is located in Card Sound Bay in the Florida Keys. According to Realtor.com, the island includes dockage at Ocean Reed, a private club with an airstrip. 

The residence on the island has three bedrooms, two cottages for caretakers and a dockmaster’s apartment, according to the listing. 

In addition to those features, the home also has a 20-slip marina to dock a megayacht. The island was listed in 2014 for $95million and the price is still the same.
