Ingraham tried to preemptively defend herself from the vitriol of Trump supporters who refuse to admit he lost the election
Joe Biden beat Donald Trump in the presidential election, but a lot of Trump’s supporters have been clinging to the false reality that the election was rigged — something that Tucker Carlson, Sean Hannity and Laura Ingraham have also claimed repeatedly, including today, in Tucker’s case. But Laura Ingraham finally accepted the real reality on Monday night, admitting that Trump is on his way out of the White House.
“In what was perhaps the most consequential tweet sent since election day, President Trump gave the go-ahead for the transition,” Ingraham said at the beginning of “The Ingraham Angle” on Monday, after Georgia, Pennsylvania and Michigan all certified Biden’s victories in those states.
“And as unpleasant and disappointing as these past three weeks have been to so many of us, as much as we wish things were different, this is where things stand tonight. Now, legal challenges continue in a number of states. Serious questions about vote counting, poll watcher access are outstanding. But unless the legal situation changes in a dramatic and frankly unlikely manner, Joe Biden will be inaugurated on January 20th.”
Some militant and very online portions of Trump’s base of supporters have clinging to the insistence that Trump will definitely be able to defy the will of the people and stay in office even though he lost the election. And many of those folks have been turning on Fox News since it declared Biden the winner on Nov. 7 alongside every other news outlet of any significance.
So after making her declaration above, she had to preemptively defend herself from those people by reminding them of her far-right extremist bona fides.
“Now, to say this does not mean I don’t think that this election was rife with problems and potential fraud. And to say this does not constitute being a sellout to the conservative populist movement that I’ve been fighting for for, I don’t know, 25 years,” Ingraham said.
“And it does not mean that I disagree at all with the President’s right and obligation to pursue all legitimate legal challenges to this outcome. To say this constitutes living in reality.”
Ingraham then insisted that she definitely is committed to being totally honest with her viewers, rather than pandering to their every whim.
“And if I offered you a false reality, if I told you that there was an excellent, phenomenal chance that the Supreme Court was going to step in and deliver a victory to President Trump, I’d be lying to you,” Ingraham said, truthfully. “Now you’ve known me for a long time now, and you’ve known me long enough to know that I will not lie to you or simply tell you what you want to hear.”
Ingraham then proceeded to say a bunch of embellished or outright false statements about Trump’s accomplishments while in office.

Virtual Boris addressing the Commons is like watching a goldfish bumping against its bowl, says HENRY DEEDES
Boris Johnson was moving through the gears nicely in the Commons yesterday as he laid out next week’s post-lockdown restrictions.
There was a pep in his step. A swing to his swagger.
Then as Mark Harper (Con, Forest of Dean) pushed the PM to provide the economic impact of his restrictions…zoiks!
The PM was rendered mute. Soundless. Shtum. Silencio. Up on the Commons screens, those bulbous lips continued to move but nothing came out. His eyes bulged awkwardly. It was like looking at a goldfish bumping up against the glass in its bowl.
Mayday! Mayday! Mayday! Houston, we have a problem.
What had happened? Had Dilyn the dog chomped through one of the cables? Had Carrie pulled the plug before Bozzie said something she didn’t approve of? Speaker Sir Lindsay Hoyle’s limbs windmilled with panic. He hates all this technology stuff. Gets him in such a flap.
Boris Johnson was moving through the gears nicely in the Commons yesterday as he laid out next week’s post-lockdown restrictions
‘The problem’s your end, Prime Minister,’ he hollered. ‘Have you pushed the mute button?’
Total silence. Boris, you suspect, no more knows where the mute button is on a computer than he does the location of the Downing Street stopcock. Around the chamber, hilarity ensued. Both sides of the House chuckled away merrily at the PM’s misfortune.
One wag, possibly Labour’s Chris Bryant (Rhondda), heckled: ‘He hasn’t paid the electricity bill!’ Yes, yes – very droll.
Personally, I thought it mildly disturbing that Downing Street computer nerds couldn’t get a basic communication link to work. Dread to think what would happen if it were Vladimir Putin granting the PM an audience.
Eventually, Sir Lindsay lost patience and asked whether Health Secretary Matthew Hancock might wish to speak on the PM’s behalf.
Further tittering. Asking Mr Hancock to take charge is like offering a roly-poly guest the last sponge finger over tea. He doesn’t need asking twice. Up he shot to the despatch box, twisting, twirling, bouncing on his toes. Gosh, he looked excited. Reminded me of the class swot who’s been asked to take temporary charge while teacher pops out for a crafty fag.
Then as Mark Harper (Con, Forest of Dean) pushed the PM to provide the economic impact of his restrictions…zoiks! The PM was rendered mute. Soundless. Shtum. Silencio
Was Hancock effectively acting Prime Minister? He would not have needed much talking round to this view.
Perhaps it was because Hancock was now at the despatch box, but it was noticeable from the exchanges that followed just how irritated Tory MPs were about this second lockdown. Damian Green (Con, Ashford) warned the more the Government pressed stupid rules on people, the less inclined they would be to obey the sensible ones. He clearly thought lockdown had been a waste of time.
There was an eccentric intervention from Sir Edward Leigh (Con, Gainsborough) who was cross that his two morning rituals – swimming in the Serpentine and attending Mass – had been taken away. Meanwhile, unseemly jostling began among MPs to stop their constituencies getting the harshest restrictions.
Julian Sturdy (Con, York Outer) said it would be ‘unfair’ if York was placed in Tier Three. Unfair? Not sure anyone will consider it fair if they end up being placed in the highest tier.
Up on the Commons screens, those bulbous lips continued to move but nothing came out. His eyes bulged awkwardly. It was like looking at a goldfish bumping up against the glass in its bowl
Hancock stayed well clear of this lobbying. He was happy for Boris to take the flak when he announces who gets what tier on Thursday.
Eventually, we got the Prime Minister back – albeit from a different location inside No10. He insisted the glitch had been the fault of the Commons. He seemed miffed to have missed so much of this important session. Quite possibly, a few choice words with the Commons authorities had been exchanged. Thankfully, there were no technical hitches at his evening Downing Street press conference.
Boris was still in cautious mode, particularly over Christmas. Yes, tis the season to be jolly but also to be ‘jolly careful’, he said. It was clear, however, that the announcement on the effectiveness of the Oxford AstraZeneca vaccine earlier had excited him. He insisted the ‘end goal’ was now in sight.
If all goes to plan, the PM said he hoped to get ‘the vast majority’ of vulnerable people vaccinated by Easter. Logistically, it would be hard work getting ‘shots in the arms where they’re needed’. After his earlier technical meltdown, a few shots in the arms are certainly needed in the Commons IT department.

Judge says he is ‘revolted’ by tactic used by betting firms to reel in addicts as he sentences father-of-two to 27 months in jail for stealing £250,000 to fund gambling habit
Recorder Adrian Reynolds said the behaviour of some betting firms ‘revolting’
Finance manager Thomas Eaton, 34, of Melton Mowbray, stole more than £250k
The father-of-two was jailed for 27 months on Friday at Leicester Crown Court
A judge described the behaviour of some betting companies as ‘revolting’ as he sentenced a gambling addict to more than two years in jail for stealing nearly £250,000 from his employers to feed his addiction.
Former Dunelm employee Thomas Eaton, 34, of Melton Mowbray, admitted forging an account book, submitting bogus expense claims worth £112,323 and fraudulently obtaining three company credit cards in order to steal money.
The father-of-two, who previously admitted five counts of fraud and one count of false accounting, was jailed for 27 months on Friday at Leicester Crown Court.
Recorder Adrian Reynolds told Eaton: ‘The sad thing is we had to wait four years for you to see the light and do the decent thing.’
The recorder said he had seen a BBC Panorama programme on gambling last year and could ‘still remember vividly scenes where people who were obviously struggling were being harassed by gambling companies’.
Thomas Eaton (pictured outside Leicester Crown Court), 34, from Melton Mowbray, was sentenced to more than two years for stealing more than £250,000 from his employer
He continued: ‘Mr Eaton, as revolted as I am by all of that, as I’m sure the vast majority of the country would be revolted by it, this is about what you have done not what they have done.
‘This fraudulent activity was conducted over a sustained period of time – and it was a really sustained period of time.
‘I’m afraid there is still a price to pay.’
Prosecutor Tony Stanford said Dunelm had spent around £100,000 investigating the fraud.
In October, the court heard that bookmaker Betsafe bombarded the gambling addict with personal messages and showered him with cash bonuses of up to £500.
Secret documents revealed the company allowed Eaton to continue betting thousands of pounds even after concerns were raised about his account.
The court heard he took the money to fund a ‘gambling addiction that had escalated out of control’.
On one occasion, Eaton said, he gambled £10 he had reserved to buy milk for his baby.
Yet he was treated like a VIP by the betting company and handed Premier League tickets to watch Manchester City and a night in a four-star hotel, according to documents obtained by the Mail.

Eaton’s defence barrister Nichola Cafferkey said the defendant was ‘in the grip of a very severe gambling addiction’.
But Ms Cafferkey added: ‘While I acknowledge that the money was being wasted, it wasn’t being used for fancy shopping trips or holidays and the like.’
She said gambling addiction ‘can be likened to an illness’ and that Eaton had ‘lost all sense of judgment’.
Speaking in October, his wife said: ‘It makes me so sick… How was he allowed to spend so much? It doesn’t excuse what my husband has done, but if the companies had done their checks it wouldn’t have gone as far as it did.’
Betsafe documents obtained by the Mail showed he lost £36,422 between October 2017 and March 2018, and was given bonuses of £500 after he admitted he was ‘on a rotten run’.
The records shows that in January 2018, Betsafe’s anti-money-laundering team even checked bank statements showing suspect transactions.
The account records from Betsafe show reams of friendly messages between Eaton and his gambling account manager
When asked to justify the suspicious funds in his account Eaton, of Asfordby Valley in Leicestershire, said the transactions were ‘some extra income from some expenses I was owed’.
His personal gambling account manager responded ‘that should be good’. Three hours later staff had given him the all-clear and he was given a £100 bonus.
Six weeks later, in March 2018, after he had lost £19,754, another check was triggered, which he failed.
The account records from Betsafe, which is owned by Swedish giant Betsson, show reams of friendly messages between Eaton and his gambling account manager.
In December 2017, following the Manchester City match, Eaton said: ‘Thanks again for a cracking day yesterday mate.’
The account manager replied: ‘No worries at all fella was a pleasure getting to meet you.’
In January 2018, he handed Eaton a £100 bonus telling his client: ‘Coz you deserve it fella that’s why. I like to reward my players.’
Eaton replied: ‘I’m on a rotten run at the moment’. And his manager replied: ‘See you need to stop punting elsewhere and only with me and your bonuses will increase.’
A week later the manager told Eaton he had given him a £200 bonus. Eaton replied: ‘nice one thanks mate,’ adding that he ‘had a horror show yesterday’. The account manager replied: ‘No worries at all fella. I had a good couple of bets but then went tits up’.
Now that the election has been called in President-elect Joe Biden’s favor, it’s time for the former vice president to start establishing his cabinet. One of the first announcements Biden made was that he plans to nominate veteran diplomat Antony Blinken as his Secretary of State and, by all accounts, the man is up for the job.
Blinken, a former deputy secretary of state for President Barack Obama, began his career at the State Department during the Clinton administration, per The New York Times, but he’s been a close aide and advisor to Biden for over 20 years. Most notably, Blinken served as Biden’s top aide when he was on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and also served as his national security advisor when Biden was vice president. Thus, Blinken clearly knows how the president-elect thinks and how to work with him. Blinken also reportedly helped Biden and Obama respond to ongoing issues in the Middle East, including Egypt, Syria, and Libya. Now, he has big plans for the Biden administration”s foreign policy.
Antony Blinken has big plans for Joe Biden's administration
In addition to Antony Blinken, Joe Biden is also expected to announce that another close aide, Jake Sullivan, will be his national security advisor. Sullivan previously worked at the State Department under Hillary Clinton. Both Blinken and Sullivan were opposed to President Trump’s foreign policy initiatives and believe that their first job will be to reestablish the United States as a team player on the global stage and express a desire to work with other countries to solve big issues, per The New York Times.
Per the outlet, Blinken said this summer at a forum, “Simply put, the big problems that we face as a country and as a planet, whether it’s climate change, whether it’s a pandemic, whether it’s the spread of bad weapons — to state the obvious, none of these have unilateral solutions. Even a country as powerful as the United States can’t handle them alone.” And as it stands right now, it looks like the transition to a new administration is already well under way, whether President Donald Trump agrees with it or not.
KATIE Price's £2million mansion is surrounded by sewage since she moved out and vowed never to return.
Photographs show a build up of waste from a leaking septic tank at the side of the 42-year-old's property.
Katie, who was once worth an estimated £40million, bought the 11-bedroom pile from former Tory minister Francis Maude in 2014.
But it's fallen into a state of disarray following failed renovations and a spate of burglaries.
Katie has now confirmed she's has too many "bad memories" at the so-called "mucky mansion" in Sussex and won't go back.
The mum-of-five – who has moved in with her boyfriend Carl Woods in a rented £4,250 per month home – said: "I’ve still got the house here with the kids for the minute, but we’re looking for somewhere.
"I've moved in with him, the kids will stay at his, but his house is the show home, it's immaculate, but mine is more like the Jungle Book.
"The doctors from The Priory have said that my house, mentally, is a place I can't ever go back to because there's too many memories.
"It's sad because it could be such an amazing place, but no I'm done it with.
"I own that house but it just literally sits there until mentally I'm ready to do something with it. It's weird to know that I still own that big house, it just sits there, I sometimes forget that I've even got it."
Work has been ongoing at the property, but these new images show work has ground for a halt.
The 40-year-old went on a mission to fix the outside with a lick of paint and new windows and scrubbed the kitchen area clean – which was previously seen in a state.
But the Sussex property is still a long way off from being in order, as the pictures reveal.
If she says she’s OK, then maybe she’s OK, but we’re definitely a little bit skeptical, to say the least…
New reporting out Monday morning claims Kourtney Kardashian doesn’t have any problems with baby daddy Scott Disick getting romantically involved with 19-year-old Amelia Gray Hamlin. In fact, the way Kourt sees it, this could actually be a good thing for Scott! Wait, what?!
According to TMZ, sources close to the former couple — who share children Mason, Penelope, and Reign together — claim that Kourt has “no issue” with Amelia’s presence in Scott’s life. The only reason for this (and it makes some sense, we suppose) is that Scott’s parenting hasn’t been affected, and insiders claim he continues to be present and helpful with the kids. So why stress about his personal life if everything’s OK on the co-parenting front??
It sounds super unconventional to most of us, probably, but this has apparently been Kourt’s take for a while, according to the outlet. For example, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star saw no issue with Scott’s pursuit of then-teenager Sofia Richie several yeas ago, again simply because Kourt realized it actually made him a better parent. When Scott is dating someone, that’s reportedly when he’s “the most grounded, happy, and responsible” so it sounds like the Poosh founder has just grown to accept this trade-off over time.
Of course, the monkey wrench here is Scott and Kourt are better than they’ve been in a long time — like, enough that they were absolutely flirting multiple times on social media and getting fans all worked up about a possible reconciliation that now doesn’t look like it’s going to come. Now, we’re not saying an icon like Kourtney Kardashian lost out on love to a teenage upstart in Hamlin, but surely there are deeper feelings between the two exes than just the co-parenting vibes. Right???
Call us crazy, but seriously, we’re surprised the 41-year-old interior design aficionado is reportedly taking this so smoothly. We’re not sure we could play ball like this, even just to keep it all smooth for the kids! At some point you’ve got to put your foot down, don’t you?!
What say U, Perezcious readers?? Do you believe all this reporting about how Kourtney is OK with Scott’s flings, or not??

Who doesn’t love a reality TV crossover? This detail about a Teen Mom 2 star’s 90 Day Fiancé obsession perfectly falls into that category. Anyone who’s seen an episode or two of MTV’s popular parenting series knows that Kailyn Lowry is one tough cookie. The mother-of-four has been through the ringer — and in front of cameras on reality TV, no less. So it’s no surprise that she likes to unwind with easy-to-digest television, just like the rest of us.
When it comes to her preferred franchise, Kail is a 90 Day loyalist. On an August 2020 episode of The Domenick Nati Show, she blurted, “Oh my god, I’m obsessed!” And when she was asked which of the international couples was her favorite, she gave an answer that’ll have you nodding in agreement. Kailyn went way back to the early days of the franchise and selected David Toborowsky and Annie Suwan, who hailed from Bueng Kan, Thailand, as her personal faves.
During the same interview, Kailyn also pondered aloud, “What apps should I use to meet someone?” She joked about wanting to find a love match abroad. So, does this mean we could see Kail on a future 90 Day season as part of a couple? One can only hope. In the meantime, let’s take a closer look at what Kailyn had to say about series vets David and Annie.
Kailyn Lowry's favorite '90 Day' couple is getting a spin-off
When appearing on The Domenick Nati Show in late August 2020, Kailyn Lowry deemed Big Ed “absolutely iconic.” Like most people on the internet, she couldn’t get enough of the guy who puts mayo in his hair. However, the 16 & Pregnant alum’s true favorites are David Toborowsky and Annie Suwan. Granted, Kail couldn’t recall David and Annie’s names at first, but did say, “I love them. They’re so funny,” when host Domenick Nati jogged her memory.
The host also boasted that he knows the 90 Day Fiancé stars IRL and Kail replied, “I want to go to dinner with them, so I’m going to need you to set that up and we can all go to dinner. They’re so great!” If this does happen, here’s hoping one of their respective camera crews captures the whole thing on tape. Or we’d even settle for a TikTok collab.
By the way, there’s some great news for Kailyn and any other David and Annie fans: The 90 Day Fiancé pair is getting a spin-off on Facebook Watch, according to People. Per the outlet’s October 2020 announcement, “In Spice It Up with David & Annie, the couple — who currently appear on TLC’s 90 Day Fiancé: Pillow Talk — will give fans an inside look at how they create their favorite Thai-inspired meals, while indulging in their signature, comedic banter.”
Maybe Kail, David, and Annie can team up for the Facebooks series? One hundred percent, we would watch.
