Below Deck’s Hannah Ferrier Has Exciting News Following The Birth Of Her Baby

Just a month following the birth of Below Deck Mediterreanean star Hannah Ferrier’s first child, a daughter named Ava Grace, her partner Josh Roberts has asked her to be his wife (via People)! Taking to her Instagram to share the engagement exciting news, the new mom posted a photo of her shiny new bauble along with the caption, “And then there were three…and a ring.”

Fellow reality stars were quick to congratulate the newly engaged Ferrier, with Selling Sunset‘s Christine Quinn commenting about her ring, “Beautiful.” Meanwhile, Vanderpump Rules star Scheana Shay said, “OMG YESSSSSS!!!! Congrats!!!!”

Incidentally, Ferrier, who famously left the Bravo yachting show after it was revealed she had undeclared Valium and a CBD pen on board, a big “no-no,” just celebrated her 34th birthday, and has been dating Roberts for two years, according to People.

Hannah Ferrier wasn't in a rush to get engaged

“We actually met in a bar in Sydney the day after I landed after filming Season 4 [of the show],” Ferrier told Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live recently about crossing paths with Roberts. When asked pre-baby about whether the couple planned to wed, she noted, “I think it’s just nice when you’re with someone and you’re secure enough that you know that’s where it’s going. So you are quite comfortable with taking your time.”

Apparently they didn’t want to take too much time, since Roberts proposed so soon after welcoming baby Ava. About her soon-to-be husband Ferrier has said, “He’s very private, he hates social media, so, that’s definitely something that I respect. It’s probably for the best.” Ferrier added her man is very low-key.

We don’t know what the details of the proposal were — perhaps it was a low-key engagement? Either way, Ferrier seems extremely happy given the many exciting, life-changing events she has experienced, from the birth of her daughter, to now, getting ready to plan a wedding! Congratulations Hannah and Josh.

Celeb Engagements of 2020

The baby girl was born on October 26 and according to Ferrier she is “already a little menace that has captured our hearts forever.”

Ferrier celebrated her two-year anniversary with Josh the same day that the couple became parents.

“2 year anniversary with my gorgeous man,” the “Dear Diary, You’re Effed” podcast host wrote via Instagram on October 26, alongside a photo of herself. “Words can’t express how much I am looking forward to this next chapter 💗.”

The former chief stewardess debuted her baby bump in a June Instagram announcement. “You are already my favorite adventure,” she wrote at the time.

If you ever want training to be a mother, then you should probably go and work on a superyacht for a few years, because I think it’ll be a walk in the park compared to that.”

Former ‘Below Deck’ Stars: Where Are They Now?

Ferrier and her fiancé, Josh, met when she was “between chair seasons,” she revealed during the season 5 premiere of the Bravo show in 2017.

Bachelorette's Hannah Brown Consults With a Matchmaker to Find Love Again

Seeking professional help. Hannah Brown is serious about getting back on the dating scene — and she isn’t afraid to ask for advice.

Hannah Brown’s Evolution: From ‘Bachelor’ to ‘DWTS’ Champ and Beyond

In a recent YouTube video, the Bachelorette alum, 26, had a candid conversation with her life coach, Nora Dekeyser, who is also a professional matchmaker. Brown admitted that she hasn’t dated since starring on The Bachelorette in 2019.

“If you don’t know yourself completely or you lose sight of that, it becomes, ‘What do I want? Who do I want to be with?’” she explained. “It got really hard for me. So, for a while I tried to numb it as much as possible.”

However, the Alabama native is now in a place where she feels comfortable with getting into a serious relationship.

“I think I am truly ready to give and receive love again, but it definitely has been a journey,” she said.

The Dancing With the Stars champion recently got back on the dating scene, when she went on three dates with guys that she met on an undisclosed dating app.

Former ‘Bachelor’ and ‘Bachelorette’ Leads: Where Are They Now?

“Heck, I’ve been on a dating show, I can get on a dating app,” Brown said of her decision to join the social media platform. “It can happen anywhere.”

Although Brown was willing to give the dating app a shot, she told Dekeyser that it “just wasn’t right” because she knows “immediately” if she likes someone. “It’s just been a little frustrating, but I’m trying not to let it get me down,” she said.

When the relationship coach asked Brown what she looks for in a partner, the former beauty pageant queen replied, “confident energy.” Brown added that she wants someone who is “open,” noting that she also values honesty after already having “issues with that.”

Brown got engaged to Jed Wyatt during her season of The Bachelorette but called it off after learning that the country singer, 26, had joined the show despite having a girlfriend back home. However, Wyatt claimed that he ended the relationship with the other woman before joining the competition.

Hannah Brown and Tyler Cameron’s Relationship Timeline

After their split, Brown asked runner-up Tyler Cameron on a date, and he was spotted leaving her L.A. home early one morning, but their flame flickered out in August 2019 after he began a two-month fling with Gigi Hadid. Brown and the Barkitecture host, 27, reconnected when they briefly quarantined together with pals in March, but the pair denied romance rumors.

Cameron told Us Weekly in October that he and Brown are focused on keeping their relationship platonic.

“We need to learn how to be friends. You know what I mean? Like, we struggled, you know, with our relationship and trying to figure out what it is,” he said at the time. “We’re in a great place right now with each other and it’s great to be able to hang out, you know, grab dinner, it’s fun.”

The sweet meaning of Hannah Ferrier’s baby girl’s name

Below Deck Mediterranean star Hannah Ferrier is officially a mom! The 33-year-old took to Instagram on November 2 to announce the arrival of her baby girl and share her sweet name. “Madam has arrived!” Ferrier captioned a precious shot of mom and baby gazing adoringly at one another. “Josh and I are so happy to welcome to the world our little girl — Ava Grace Roberts. Born on the 26th of October. She is already a little menace that has captured our hearts forever.” The reality star also shared two sweet-as-pie pics of baby Ava with her eyes wide open — in one the newborn is adorably yawning.

According to E! Online, the teeny blessing was born as Ferrier and her partner Josh were celebrating two years together. According to the outlet, their first child has been named since around “12-and-a-half weeks” into the pregnancy.

The gorgeous meaning of the baby name Ava Grace

When Hannah Ferrier, who was dismissed by Captain Sandy on the August 17 episode of Below Deck after she failed to disclose that she had Valium and a vape pen with her on board the ship, chose the name Ava for her little girl, she joined many parents who love the sweet moniker (via The Daily Dish). According to Nameberry, Ava was the third most popular name for girls in 2019. The name is Hebrew, Latin, or Germanic in origin and means “life,” “bird,” “water,” and “island.” Little Ava Roberts joins other famous daughters the likes of Ava Phillippe, whose parents are Ryan Phillippe and Reese Witherspoon.

Meanwhile, Grace is of Latin origin and has been used dating back to the Middle Ages according to Nameberry. It is a fairly common first name, and is often used as a middle name.

Ultimately, Ava Grace is a lovely, feminine name and we wish the sweet little one and her parents every happiness as they enjoy their early days and weeks together.

What Hannah Brown Told ‘BFF’ Matt James Before His ‘Bachelor’ Journey

Passing the torch! Hannah Brown gave Matt James advice before he left to shoot The Bachelor in Pennsylvania in last month.

Bachelor Nation Besties! Contestants Who Found Friends on the Shows

“My biggest thing for him is just, like, remember who you are,” Brown, 26, told fellow Bachelorette alum Kaitlyn Bristowe on the Tuesday, October 27, episode of the “Off the Vine” podcast. “These are your choices, it’s your life. Prepare.”

She recalled telling the newest Bachelor lead to “write down what you want in a wife, what type of life do you want, so that when you go on these dates, you can look back and be like, ‘Is this lining up or was that just a magical date because there are fireworks and the horses and the violinists?’”

The season 15 Bachelorette met James, 28, through Tyler Cameron, who was her runner-up on the reality series.

The former Miss Alabama explained that the two didn’t immediately hit it off, but now she considers him one of her best friends — and is protective of his heart.

“It’s been such a good relationship to know that the boundaries are there and the respect is there and it’s all good,” she said of her relationship with James. “It’s awesome. I told Tyler, ‘I one thousand percent stole your best friend. I mean, we can share, but I’m not kidding that we share.’”

Getting Steamy! ‘The Bachelor’ Star Matt James’ Hottest Photos

The former Dancing With the Stars champion also sent the former college athlete two books and a journal to help him write down his thoughts throughout the process, which is what she did when she was on The Bachelor.

“I’ve never known somebody on the show beforehand like this and actually cared for his heart and want him to just be happy after this,” she revealed. “There’s a reason that we’re both in each other’s lives.”

Brown left a message for James in the notebook, saying, “Just make sure she likes me and she’s OK with me being your BFF.”

Before he began filming his season, the ABC Food Tours founder, who was part of Brown and Cameron’s quarantine crew in the summer, gave each of his pals a shout-out on social media.

“@tylerjcameron3 what a crazy 6 months, I love you brother, wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for you an [sic] your mama,” he wrote in September, referencing Cameron’s late mother, Andrea Cameron, who died from a brain aneurysm in March. “Oh & I’ll be back, with a plus one.”

The Wake Forest University graduate added: “Last but CERTAINLY not least.. Happy (early) Birthday Breezyy @hannahbrown.”

The North Carolina native was announced as the franchise’s first Black male lead in June, after he was previously announced as one of the suitors on Clare Crawley’s Bachelorette season.

James is currently filming season 25 of the ABC series at the Nemacolin Woodlands Resort in Pennsylvania.

The new season of The Bachelor is expected to premiere on ABC in January 2021.

Hannah Ferrier declared queen of Below Deck Med reunion for ‘I Need A Valium’ mug

Social media has declared Hannah Ferrier queen of the Below Deck Mediterranean Season 5 reunion after drinking out of a mug that said, “I Need A Valium.”

The Wellington crew virtually gathered for a chat to discuss the dramatic and crazy season. Andy Cohen hosted the reunion, which focused significantly on Captain Sandy Yawn’s apparent dislike of Hannah.

Part one of the two-part event was pretty much what viewers expected. Malia White and Captain Sandy blaming everyone else, especially Hannah and chef Kiko Lorran, for their bad behavior. Kiko’s smiling face and the positive vibe was one saving grace for the reunion.

There were also a couple of surprises that have fans talking today.

Andy did mention fired Below Deck Med deckhand Peter Hunziker and his racist post. The host also mentioned second stew Lara Flumiani, who declined to attend the reunion, and her short stint on the show.

What has Twitter buzzing, though, is Hannah and her mug that sums up her entire fight with Captain Sandy.

The infamous mug sip

Hannah is famous for many things, but now it is the mug sip perfectly throwing shade at those who wronged her.

  • Captain Sandy from Below Deck Med opens up about suffering a heart attack two years ago

After a draining spat with Captain Sandy and Malia over the cabin assignment drama, Hannah casually took a drink from an I Need A Valium mug.

The moment came right after Captain Sandy declared the decision of cabin arrangements was up to Malia. It was also right before the subject of Hannah’s firing for having unauthorized Valium and CBD pen on The Wellington.

Andy picked the right time to bring up Malia turning in Hannah and Captain Sandy firing her, just as the show ended. There was even a cliffhanger that leads fans to believe either Hannah was lying about the CBD pen or Andy is going after Hannah unnecessarily for ratings.

Twitter is obsessed with Hannah and her mug

Twitter wasted no time showing love for Hannah and her mug. Hannah is the queen in fans’ eyes.

The former chief stew may be done with the Bravo show and yachting, but fans will forever think she is GOAT of Below Deck Mediterranean.

Hannah’s friend and Season 4 alum Anastasia Surmava agreed the former chief stew was the greatest.

Even Watch What Happens Live tweeted Hannah is a total 2020 mood with her mug.

There is no question Hannah Ferrier is the winner of the Below Deck Mediterranean Season 5 reunion with her infamous mug. It is worth noting Kiko has also come away from this even more beloved than ever too.

Fans have nothing but love for Hannah and can’t wait to see what the chief stew does next week.

The biggest mistake Hannah Ferrier made on Below Deck Mediterranean

Hannah Ferrier’s exit from Below Deck Mediterranean was nothing short of explosive. After her colleague Malia White discovered Ferrier had undeclared Valium and a CBD vaping pen onboard the Wellington, she reported her to their boss, Captain Sandy. After confronting Ferrier, the two women got into a shouting match, which ultimately resulted in the longtime chief stew being fired (via People).

In the time since, Ferrier has professed her innocence, explaining on Twitter that she has a prescription for the anti-anxiety medication. Alongside a couple shots of the offending materials and her doctor’s prescription for the items, Ferrier wrote, “So that’s prescribed Valium, CBD (which is legal in Spain), [and] a lighter … And for anyone who’s interested the prescription is on the other side of the box as shown.” Although Ferrier doesn’t feel like she was rightfully axed, there is something the former reality star regrets about how she left the show.

Hannah Ferrier wishes she had just declared her meds

Speaking to E! News, Hannah Ferrier admitted, “If I could do it all over again, I would’ve just declared them as soon as I came on board.” However, she clarified, “It was definitely not something that was intentional. I wasn’t trying to hide anything.” Ferrier argued that she always brought her anti-anxiety medications onboard, so it wasn’t a big deal. She also admitted to being “frustrated with the narrative” on the show, mainly with how her ex-boss implied Ferrier wasn’t fit to do her job.

As for how she was actually let go, the former reality star argued, “I think it was handled in a very poor way and I think it was handled very unprofessionally. The fact that she screamed, ‘F*** you!’ is insane.”

Although Captain Sandy reached out to congratulate Ferrier on her pregnancy, the ex-chief stew doesn’t want to hear from her or Malia White. In fact, if she could go back, Ferrier would’ve quit after Season 4. That way she would’ve left Below Deck Mediterranean on a high note.

The former Below Deck Mediterranean star defended her former colleague

Hannah Ferrier might have no time for many of her former colleagues, but she did take to social media to defend one co-star. Of Christine “Bugsy” Drake, whom the former chief stew doesn’t believe should be subjected to treatment like she herself encountered, Ferrier tweeted, “I feel like Bugs has been pulled into this situation so I want to make something clear. I don’t believe Bugs had anything to do with the photo being sent to Sandy or the subsequent consequences.”

When a fan pointed out that Drake was playing both sides, Ferrier argued, “I know. But those are 2 different things and there’s [obviously] a lot of hate coming about the photo etc. so I don’t want Bugs dragged into that hate as that’s not fair.” The former Below Deck Med star later clarified that her issue was with White intentionally sharing the photo. She did, however, agree with fans suggesting Captain Sandy and White deserve all the online hate they’re getting.

Hannah Brown and Tyler Cameron Reveal How Their Shared "Trauma" Finally Brought Them Back Together

Hannah Brown and Tyler Cameron officially set the record straight on those romance rumors after breaking up on The Bachelorette a year ago.

Hannah Brown and Tyler Cameron are finally revealing what happened when they quarantined together at the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic.

From an outsider's perspective, the former couple was having the time of their life during the 18 days that they spent together in Jupiter, Fla. Their workout videos, dance TikToks and Matt James' Instagram Story painted the picture of two young people with no worries.

But now, the reality stars say that it was quite the opposite.

In Hannah's YouTube video titled "What Really Happened," she and her ex reveal that it was actually a time of healing and reflection after experiencing loss and trauma, specifically the death of Tyler's mom and Hannah's brother overdosing.

Tyler explains, "We were kind of leaning on each other. We were both going through things, and were kind of like each other's support system all of a sudden. You of course have your family there, but it's always nice to have someone to lean on as well."

She agrees, adding that they became "really close emotionally," with Hannah even attending his mother's funeral.

She recalls, "I wanted to get away from my own trauma so I would say that I traded Tyler's trauma for mine. I also wanted to be there for you."

During this time, Tyler says that it was nice having her there because she was "low-key" about it and he was able to "get out of the mix."

Hannah Brown & Tyler Cameron Reveal What Really Happened in Quarantine

It was for this reason that Tyler says he invited her back to quarantine with him and a group of friends, which would later become known as the "Quarantine Crew."

But, like most Americans, Tyler reveals that he thought the shut down would only last a "few days," during which they could "see what it is" between them.

However, he says that he didn't want anything to happen, because he was in a "bad place."

"I made a rule. I'm not hooking up, I'm not doing nothing because I don't want you to go away, and I go away and then we're like ‘Oh I don't feel that' and we're upset again at each other," he explains. "We got upset with each other anyways."

And, at first, it was a positive thing for the both of them. He says, "You were able to bring light to a really dark time. It was needed."

But he also says that once their living situation became public knowledge, it turned into a "pressure cooker" of expectations. He admits they fed into the media frenzy but says it came at a cost: "We were under pressure the whole time."

Hannah adds that they did sleep in the same bed, but she says, "People think we were hooking up the whole time… Never kissed."

In fact, Tyler admits there was days where he'd entirely avoid her, because he didn't want to talk about what was happening between the two of them. Hannah, on the other hand, recalls being frustrated by their lack of communication.

"I'm at my ex's house with all of his friends," she explains. "I'm like I don't know where I fit. And I think I did a good job of like trying to be okay with the situation that I was in but for me like I was internally freaking out."

But Tyler says he didn't want to force the situation, explaining, "I was in a hurt place, you were in a hurt place, we have a tough past. We've gone through a lot together and this was our first time really hanging out. I just wanted to work on it being a friendship. So if we stepped away and got away from each other and we wanted more, we could always go get more."

And Hannah was ready to go home, but didn't want to fly during the pandemic. Plus, she has narcolepsy so driving was off the list. Her only option was to hitch a ride with some guy from her hometown, but she says she was done. "By that time I was so—like I wasn't very nice that day. You were definitely not nice that day," she recalls.

Since then, Hannah says they've been working on "trying to be cool being friends."

As for Tyler, he shares, "I'm super stoked with where we're at right now."

Well, there you have it. After what seems like a year of speculation, Hannah and Tyler can confirm they are officially just friends.
