39 Cozy Things We See People Wearing Everywhere

We only recommend products we love and that we think you will, too. We may receive a portion of sales from products purchased from this article, which was written by our Commerce team.

Cozy things are my favorite things. (I have more candles, throw blankets, rugs, and slippers than I know what to do with.) Needless to say, when it comes to my wardrobe, I always prioritize comfort and function over fashion because is there anything better than clothing that’ll make you feel like you’re cuddling under a blanket? But that doesn’t mean I don’t want to love the way my clothes look either. And I don’t think I’m the only one. That’s probably why these pieces that are both comfy and cute are such hits.

Now, I’m not typically a trend-follower, but when it comes to clothes, it’s hard to ignore some of the most-worn and top-rated pieces on the internet. After all, if they’re flooding people’s feeds and racking up endless reviews on Amazon, it’s probably for a solid reason — and, more often than not, that reason is the combination of style and comfort. (It doesn’t hurt if they’re shockingly affordable, either.)

So scroll on for 30-plus items check all of the aforementioned boxes: They’re made from soft, cozy materials, they elevate your wardrobe with minimal effort, and they cost way less than you’d think. No wonder they’re getting tons of love everywhere we look.

Tiny details like the wrap design at the front of this pleated sweatshirt can instantly take a piece from casual to elevated. Available sizes: Small – X-Large

Look effortlessly put-together with this ribbed maxi skirt from Meraki. Thanks to the 100% cotton construction and nine colors to choose from, it’s both skin-friendly and stylish.

Available sizes: X-Small – XX-Large

Some lower-impact activities (like walking or restorative yoga) don’t necessarily cause you to break a sweat — but you probably don’t want to wear a heavy sweater, either. This Core 10 athletic top is a great compromise. Yes, it’s made from soft French terry that offers both warmth and comfort, but thanks to the rayon, short sleeves, and cropped design, it’s still breathable and non-constricting for lighter workouts. But it’s also a great look for lounging or errands or anything in between.

Available sizes: X-Small – 3X

Offered in some gorgeous colors (as well as three thick color-blocked stripes), this ZESICA turtleneck appears a whole lot more expensive than it is. Washington family of seven lost their home to wildfires then they all fell sick with the coronavirus

  • A family of seven from Washington all tested positive for COVID-19, several days after losing their home to a wildfire.
  • Matthew and Jessica Graham and their five children, aged five to 10, lost their entire home and belongings after a fire ravaged their town of Malden, Washington, on September 7.
  • While staying with family members, the Grahams tested positive for COVID-19.
  • They initially didn't realize they were sick because they thought the symptoms resulted from breathing in smoke from the fires.
  • Visit Insider's homepage for more stories.

A family of seven from Washington all tested positive for COVID-19, days after losing their home to the West Coast wildfires.

Matthew and Jessica Graham and their five children, aged five to 10, fled their home in the small town of Malden, Washington, on September 7 after Matthew had a premonition that the Babb Road Fire — which at that point had been in nearby areas — was coming closer.

"It was really windy that day, when we were leaving, Matthew made a comment, 'I hope there's not a fire today because they would not be able to stop it with how this wind is,'" said Jessica Graham, according to local television station Q13 Fox.

By the end of the day, the entire town had been destroyed by the fire, with the Graham family's house, barn, and everything they owned inside burned to ash.

"It's just surreal, like being in a bad dream and you're like, this can't be real," said Jessica, according to Q13 Fox. "I was more in shock than I would have imagined, I felt numb a lot for the first few days."

But days later, as the Grahams stayed in their relatives' homes, more misfortune struck: Matthew started developing symptoms of COVID-19.

The family initially thought the symptoms came from the heavy smoke they had been breathing in from the fires, but even though the smoke cleared, the symptoms remained.

"The nurse asked me if there was a whole group of us with the same last names that had been tested," Matthew said, according to NBC News. "And I told her, 'Yeah, there are.' And she said: 'Yeah, they're all positive. Everybody has it.'"

All seven family members tested positive for COVID-19, alongside Matthew's mother, Jessica's father, and family friends who had dropped off food for the family before their coronavirus diagnosis.

While the children only had mild symptoms, Jessica and Matthew suffered severely.

"It's just like hitting a brick wall with this overwhelming exhaustion," said Jessica, according to Q13 Fox.

"People don't adequately describe how miserable coronaviruses are in general," said Matthew, Q13 Fox reported. "Curled up in the fetal position, not moving, that really isn't a good state to be in."

The family spent their quarantine packed in a hotel room and have since set up a GoFundMe page to help cover costs, that has already received tens of thousands of dollars worth of donations. They plan to go house hunting as soon as they recover from the illness.

"This will be a year that we look back on and we'll all probably be vastly stronger people for it," said Matthew.

Wildfires have taken a terrible toll on the West Coast this summer. Standford researchers predict that the wildfire smoke has killed more than 1,200 people in California this year, while thousands of others have been left homeless.

According to a tracker by Johns Hopkins University, more than 7.3 million Americas have tested positive for COVID-19 and almost 210,000 have died from it.

Tom Cruise Balances on Top of Speeding Train for 'Mission Impossible'

Tom Cruise could be a little strapped for cash these days, because we’re thinkin’ he had issues paying for a train ticket, so he just rode from the top!!!

Tom was in Norway filming the 7th installment of the “Mission Impossible” franchise, and he was true to form, riding on the top of a speeding train as some very impressed Norwegians followed the train in their car.

The guys actually got Tom’s attention. The 58-year-old waved to the guys as he was riding high above the tracks, but that will pale by comparison to his latest plan — getting hurled into space courtesy of Elon Musk and SpaceX to shoot scenes for an undisclosed movie project.

Tom’s expected to blast off in October 2021.

Pretty cool.

SNL Returns With A Bang: Jim Carrey & Chris Rock Impress In A Hilarious Season Opener!

Saturday Night Live returned on, well, Saturday night (LOLz) for its season 46 premiere, and it couldn’t have all come together at a better time!

With the American presidential election just about a month away, there is SO much to talk about and lampoon, and last night’s episode of the show seriously proved just how fine a point the writing staff in NYC has on the showdown between Donald Trump and Joe Biden.

With the usual suspect — Alec Baldwin — showing out in his familiar Trump get-up, having perfected the voice and mannerisms of our President, Jim Carrey stepped up to the plate to offer a similarly hilarious, fresh, and new take on Biden! And as you can see from the show’s debate spoof cold open (above), it was AH-Mazing!!! Seriously, Carrey had us rolling on the floor laughing with some of the things his Biden did on last night’s show!

Hosted by Chris Rock, the season 46 premiere was truly strong and memorable from top to bottom. Not only did that cold open hit the spot, but Rock’s monologue itself was perfectly tuned (below) — something we’ve come to expect from one of the best comedians of his time:

Love it!!!

Rock himself was far from finished, though, as a few of his skits really landed well, too. The ‘NBA Bubble’ one in particular had us laughing, but as you can see (below), he definitely hit a few home runs last night with his effort on the live comedy sketch show:

So great!

The evening’s musical guest was none other than the ever-present Megan Thee Stallion, who herself is enjoying a moment in the spotlight right now! And we can’t get enough of her!!

The rapper performed twice during the show last night, bringing down the house with her music while also at one point sending a poignant political message, as well:

Get it, girl!!!

And even beyond the big-name stars, last night’s season premiere was truly a team effort across the board! Many of the other sketches and moments landed well, too!

Ch-ch-check out all the rest of the best from Saturday night’s debut, all down (below):

Ha! Love it! Especially love the fresh, new take on The Drew Barrymore Show there at the end!! LOLz!

'WandaVision': Eagle-Eyed Fans Spot Easter Eggs Teasing 2 of Marvel's Most Anticipated Reboots

As soon as the WandaVision trailer dropped during the recent Emmy Awards, Marvel fans started breaking it down frame by frame. After reviewing the one minute and twenty-second clip, eagle-eyed fans spotted some Easter eggs. And they appear to tease two of Marvel’s most anticipated Fox reboots.

Marvel Phase 4 is beginning with a focus on recently deceased characters

It’s no secret that the COVID-19 pandemic has thrown Marvel’s plans for Phase 4 into chaos. The studio has pushed back all of its planned 2020 theatrical releases into 2021. In turn, many of their scheduled 2021 releases are now scheduled for 2022.

At the same time, Marvel has moved around the release dates for some of their Disney+ series. With all of the changes, Forbes is reporting that the first MCU film and the first three Marvel series on Disney+ post-Avengers: Endgame will all focus on recently deceased characters. Those projects are Black Widow, WandaVision, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and Loki.

In the WandaVision trailer, they didn’t hide the fact that Vision (Paul Bettany) died in Infinity War. Many fans believe that Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) has messed around with time and space to bring Vision back from the dead. According to the Disney+ series description, the show is a time-traveling romantic comedy that is a “blend of classic television and the MCU.”

The fan theory is that Wanda’s manipulation of time and space will have consequences in both WandaVision and the Doctor Strange sequel.

‘WandaVision’ will help open the multiverse

According to Screen Rant, Marvel is setting up narrative opportunities in Phase 4 that will allow them to introduce some of the characters they acquired during the Disney/Fox merger.  Studio boss Kevin Feige has also teased projects like Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, Blade, and Black Panther 2.

The big question now is how Marvel will introduce their newly acquired Fox properties into the MCU. They teased the existence of the multiverse in Avengers: Endgame. Even though Marvel has remained quiet about plot specifics for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, the title suggests more exploration into the multiverse.

The expectation is that WandaVision and the other two Disney+ series will also tie-in to the Doctor Strange sequel and the multiverse. Once this is established in the MCU, the studio could use the TV series to introduce those newly-acquired Fox properties – the Fantastic Four and the X-Men.

Some eagle-eyed viewers of the WandaVision trailer believe they found Easter eggs teasing both the Fantastic Four and X-Men reboots.

Did the ‘WandaVision’ trailer reveal ties to the Fantastic Four and X-Men?

According to, the trailer offered fans a glimpse of SWORD, the Sentient World Observation and Response Department. SWORD is a counterpart of S.H.I.E.L.D. that handles extraterrestrial threats.

SWORD first appeared in the X-Men comic book. And at one time they had an X-Man in their ranks. The second Easter egg is the appearance of “nosy neighbor” Agnes, played by Kathryn Hahn.

The speculation is that nosy neighbor Agnes is really centuries-old witch Agatha Harkness. She first appeared in the Fantastic Four comics. Sue Storm and Reed Richards trust Agatha to take care of their newborn son, but they discover Agatha’s powerful witchcraft.

Agatha was a recurring character in the Fantastic Four comic books throughout the 1970s. She later appeared in Vision and the Scarlet Witch as a mystic mentor for Wanda.

Could WandaVision be the Marvel series that introduces Fantastic Four and X-Men into the MCU? Fans will have to wait and see when the series hits Disney+ later this year.

Geoff actor refused Coronation Street abuse lines which went 'too far'

Coronation Street actor Ian Bartholomew has told how he was ‘horrified’ by some of the abuse scenes his character Geoff Metcalfe had to take part in.

The Geoff and Yasmeen (Shelley King) storyline has kept Corrie viewers gripped over the past few months, especially as it has raised awareness of domestic abuse and controlling behaviour.

Some of the abuse lines went ‘too far’ for Ian as he revealed there was one scene in particular that he refused to do.

The soap star wouldn’t go into detail about which line he didn’t want to say, but explained that it didn’t sit right for him.

‘My job is to interpret what the writers give me,’ he told Cheshire Life.

‘Tony Warren (the creator of Coronation Street) said, ‘act it the way you want them to write for you’ and that is what I have tried to do with Geoff.’

He went on to add that ‘there was a desire to do a coercive storyline’ in Corrie, which led him to ‘have conversations with women’s charity, Women’s Aid.

He added: ‘The story has evolved very slowly and has been done brilliantly – the research with Women’s Aid and the conversations with many people with experience of abuse, the writing, the lighting, the cutting – it is a team effort.’

Viewers have been waiting patiently for evil Geoff to get his comeuppance for the abhorrent abuse he inflicted on Yasmeen, and while it once seemed like an impossibility, justice is finally starting to catch up with the abuser.

With Sally (Sally Dynevor) and Alya Nazir (Sair Khan) having successfully exposed his sinister ways, Geoff was finally disowned by Tim (Joe Duttine).

However, there’s still the question of whether Imran Habeeb (Charlie de Melo) will be able to prove Geoff’s abuse, and whether Yasmeen will get out of prison.

Jim Carrey’s Joe Biden Promises to “Make America Not Actively on Fire Again” on SNL

Jim Carrey just made an epic debut as former vice president Joe Biden on Saturday Night Live. The actor re-created this week’s presidential debate, which CNN correspondent Dana Bash aptly called “a shitshow.”

During the show’s cold open, Alec Baldwin reprised his role as President Donald Trump, while Beck Bennett portrayed moderator Chris Wallace. Much like in the actual debate, Trump and Biden repeatedly interrupted one another during the sketch. In real life, Biden ended up saying “Will you shut up, man?” to Trump, something which most definitely inspired SNL‘s take on the debate. In fact, whenever Carrey’s Biden tried to talk, Trump was quick to interrupt, at one point telling his opponent, “No, whatever you’re going to say, no.”

Unsurprisingly, Baldwin’s Trump took aim at everything he considers to be “mean,” including the coronavirus, which the president was diagnosed with IRL this week. He told viewers, COVID-19 “has been very mean to me by being a hoax, and that statement will not come back to haunt me later this week.”

To try and remain calm, Biden took some time out to listen to his Harry Styles meditation tape, with the singer making a small cameo onscreen. Styles’s appearance references his real life recording on the Calm app, so that you, too, can relax to the Brit’s dulcet tones.

Maya Rudolph returned to the stage as Senator Kamala Harris during the sketch, and attempted to mediate the situation. “Don’t treat my Joe like that, he’s a nice boy,” she told Trump, and made him apologize to the former vice president. “I think if there’s one thing we learned tonight,” she told the audience, “it’s that America needs a WAP—woman as president. But for now, I’ll settle for HVPIC—hot vice president in charge.” We couldn’t agree more.

Best supplements to boost your immune system: Three easy pills to swallow this season

If you’d like to strengthen your immune response to viruses, bacteria and anything else lurking out there, it’s time to invest in some supplements. But, which ones?

Researchers from the Department of Internal Medicine in Michigan looked into the role of zinc.

They noted how zinc is “essential for multiple cellular functions including immunity”.

Looking into scientific reviews, zinc supplementation has been observed to help people suffering from pneumonia, acute respiratory tract infections and the common cold.

“Zinc supplementation was effective in decreasing incidences of infections in the elderly,” the researchers added.

They explained zinc was “effective in decreasing oxidative stress and generation of inflammatory cytokines”.

The Institute of Immunology, in Germany, noted how up to 30 percent of adults are deficient in this mineral.

This could possibly put someone at higher risk of catching a cold. Already got one? Zinc could still help.

The Department of Public Health in Helsinki, Finland, found that zinc supplementation can help reduce the duration of the common cold.

Another supplement to consider this winter is elderberry (Sambucus nigra).

The Institute for Medical Microbiology, in Germany, stated elderberries are “well known as supportive agents against the common cold and influenza”.

Their experiment found that elderberry extracts “possess antimicrobial activity” that enable them to fight against viruses.

The Franklin Institute of Wellness, in America, conducted a meta-analysis to quantify the effects of elderberry supplementation.

They analysed data from 180 participants, whereby elderberry supplementation was found to “substantially reduce upper respiratory symptoms”.

The researchers noted: “These findings present a potentially safer alternative to prescription drugs for cases of the common cold and influenza.”

Elderberry supplements are available to purchase in capsule or liquid form.

In addition to zinc and elderberry, one other supplement to consider is vitamin D.

This fat-soluble nutrient is essential to the healthy functioning of the immune system.

The research team from the University Hospital Virgen del Rocio, in Spain, noted how vitamin D enhances the pathogen-fighting effects of white blood cells.

White blood cells are compulsory components of anybody’s immune system.

As with the other supplements, vitamin D is thought to decrease a person’s risk of respiratory infections, as well as shortening any you may have.

The NHS recommends everybody to take a vitamin D supplement during autumn and winter.

This is because the sun isn’t strong enough for the body to produce it naturally at this time of year.

In addition, the national health body stated “it’s difficult for people to get enough vitamin D from food alone”.
